Young People from across Yorkshire and the Humber and from the North West came together over the weekend to discuss the Northern Powerhouseas one part of an Erasmus+ funded project bringing together young people and Northern Powerhouse decision-makers to ensure that the voice of young people is not lost in its development.

Below is a flyer regarding a workshop for those of you who may be currently involved in writing, or planning to write and submit, bids for Erasmus+ funding. The workshop can only happen if we have enough interest to make up a viable group in terms of number of participants.
We have an external facilitator lined up for the event – Nick Gunner. Nick has previously worked at the British Council where he has managed European Youth Programmes and has extensive experience of developing & implementing International youth engagement strategies and projects. He is also able to share knowledge gained from submitting successful bids and able to give hints and tips on the expectations of the funders and what to include and not include in applications.
At this stage, we simply want indications of intentions to attend. We can then negotiate dates with Nick and confirm the venue when we are confident that we have enough people to go ahead. I recently attended a workshop he delivered in the North East with exactly the same programme and it was very well attended with very good feedback.
You will be able to find resources to help you and young people keep calm, stay connected and be safe. Each section has downloadable resources and links to other useful sites to support youth workers or use with young people. Please visit Youth Work Support concerning Covid-19
