Training – Level Two Award – Introduction to Youth Work

Bradford College in Partnership with The Youth Work Unit Yorkshire and the Humber and Bradford Youth Support Service Level 2 Award Introduction to Youth Work Training.

The award consists of four units which, if are completed creates the Award, or individual units can be accessed to meet needs.

•• Engaging and Communicating with Young People

•• Safeguarding in a Youth Work Setting

•• Theory of Youth Work

•• Young People’s Development

The award allows you to progress on to either the Level 2 Certificate in Youth Work (Youth Support Worker) or Level 3 Certificate in Youth Work. You will need to be in paid, unpaid or voluntary practice for a minimum of two hours per week to secure a place on the course. You will also be required to attend Bradford College one evening per week from 6pm to 9pm for a 10 week period.Bradford Youth Service staff will have their fees paid by the Workforce Development Unit.

Voluntary sector/Charities Course Fees -£450. Non voluntary Course Fees – £600.
