Requirements: Youth Inclusion Project: The service is commissioned to work with children and young people aged 8-13 years identified by partner agencies as being most at risk of offending, anti-social behaviour or exclusion from education. The service will work to support children to reduce the risk factors they are experiencing through a variety of interventions. Purpose of the role: We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to contribute to the supervision, quality assurance and support safeguarding procedures within our Youth Inclusion Project. This practitioner will also hold a small caseload of children. Responsibilities and Key Tasks: •Supervise practitioners within our Youth Inclusion Project •Promote positive relationships with key partners and relevant service networks. •Ensure Safeguarding compliance and promote quality safeguarding practise within the teams. •Maintain a flexible, motivated leadership style that meets the demands of the service. •Monitor project quality assurance ensuring consistent quality across the workforce. •Ensure staff are complying with relevant monitoring evidence and data collection expectations. •Manage a small caseload of children. Identifying risk factors and providing a range of interventions that will meet their needs. •Liaise with and report to the CYP manager in line with service outcomes and funder requirements. •Support and maintain relevant referral and monitoring systems in accordance with practise and funder requirements. •Promote and facilitate integration of projects including Adult and Community services. •To be proactive in promoting and developing Barca-Leeds services.
