Personal Assistant (PA) to Director North

You will support the Regional Director manage a busy schedule, providing proactive administrative and secretarial support. The skills and experience we require are detailed below.

Area Co-ordinator

You will support the Area Manager provide comprehensive support to a wide network of Branches across Yorkshire. The skills and experience we require are detailed below.

For both the PA and Area Co-ordinator roles: you will be required to provide a high level of administrative and secretarial support including diary management and organising and minuting of meetings. You will need proven secretarial or administrative experience and strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint. You must also have proven ability to set up and maintain information and data retrieval systems and also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As Information and Research Officer for the Bradford LINk you will support everyone who participates in the Bradford LINk with the information they need about health and social care.

You will also manage our original research projects when we find that the information we need doesn't exist yet.

Communications Officer VOX Comunity Empowerment Network

VOX Community Empowerment Network for Wakefield District

Part Time Communications Officer: 21 Hours per week £23,405 pro rata (based on a 35 hour week)

This vacancy is to cover maternity leave and funding is currently in place until 31st March 2009. We are hoping that further funding will be made available, in which case the contract will be extended for another 3 months.

VOX is a network of community & voluntary groups in the Wakefield District and are funded by Wakefield District Partnership, Wakefield Together, which is made up of representatives from Wakefield Council, the Police and health representatives amongst others. VOX is a Registered Company No: 06038344 and a Registered Charity No. 1124787.

The post holder will undertake both strategic and operational activities to ensure that VOX delivers the communications outcomes in the VOX Business Plan and the Local Area Agreement (LAA) Community Engagement Delivery Plan and thereby contribute to the delivery of the Local Area Agreement and the Sustainable Community Strategy for the Wakefield District.

Duties will include:
* Design, writing and production of publicity materials on a
regular basis, including flyers, leaflets etc using Quark, Photoshop,
Illustrator or alternative software
* Liaison with printers and others to ensure that materials are
produced in a variety of other formats
* Writing articles/providing reports and artwork for the VOX
website
* Producing a Word based version of the fortnightly e-bulletin
* Press Officer duties
